About
Ball Sort is the classic colour sorting puzzle with a race against the clock. Tap a tube to pick up its top ball, then tap another tube to drop it there, onto an empty tube or onto a ball of the same colour. Balls of the same colour under the top one come along too, and each tube holds four. Sort every colour into its own tube to solve the puzzle.
There are no levels to choose: as soon as you solve one puzzle, a new one appears with more colours and more tubes. Each puzzle has its own timer, and the game ends when time runs out. Made a wrong move? Tap Undo to take it back. Your score is how many puzzles you solve in a row, and your best is kept in your browser.
How to Play
- Tap a tube to pick up its top ball, then tap another tube to put it there.
- A ball can only go onto an empty tube or onto a ball of the same colour; each tube holds four.
- Sort every colour into its own tube to solve the puzzle, and a harder one comes next.
- Solve each puzzle before its timer runs out. Tap Undo to take back a move.
Tips
- Use the empty tubes as parking spaces, and try to keep one free.
- Look for colours that are already near the top of several tubes and gather them first.
- Don't fill an empty tube with mixed colours; it blocks your best tool.
- Stuck? Undo a few moves instead of making things worse.
